This is great, thank you! Several years ago I wrote a comparable resource on HIPAA business associate contracts for the American Bar Association, The HITECH Business Associate Contracts Bible (2013). It's still fully valid as the regulations haven't changed at that level. I hold the copyright and wonder if there's a way of migrating content to this site, if you're interested?

Hi John. Thanks for your message and your interest in the site. FYI, the Contract Codex was designed as a general contract resource, not specific to any particular subject matter area (such as the regulation of electronic medical records). Also, the Contract Codex does not offer specific forms or agreement samples, such as Business Associate Agreements. Rather, it offers term and clause exemplars with applicability to commercial contracts in general. That said, there is a place in the Contract Codex (see Data Protection and Security) that specifically deals with privacy and security standards for the protection of personal data consistent with HITECH/HIPAA laws and regulations (see exemplars C22-18 and C22-19). Let me know if you have any interesting terms and clauses that can be added to and improve that section. Thank you!

Additional thanks to David Cohen for a new exemplar relating to exceptions to IP-infringement indemnification (see new Exemplar #C38E-6A). User Larry Brown has also contributed additional term definitions relating to the processing of personal data (see new Exemplars #C4-3A (aggregate data), #C22-1A (personal data), and #C22-28A (security incident). Hi Noelle. Insurance requirements are definitely within the scope of the CC! Please review the exemplars in the topic page entitled "Insurance" in the General Commercial Contract section of the site. Hi Laveena, thanks for your question. Did you try looking at the "Hiring and Solicitation" topic page in the Commercial Contracts section of the site? The exemplars in that topic page address hiring and solicitation restrictions. Non-compete agreements are special agreements that are outside the scope of the general topics contained on this site. But if you have any particular term samples that you would like to share, please feel free to do so on this Community Page. Thank you.
